
"KAGUYA 3D GIS(KAGUYA 3D Moon NAVI)" let you browse the images and data obtained by the Japanese lunar explorer "KAGUYA" with realistic sensation by three dimensional (3D) view function.
You can manipulate the Moon in space at will by mouse operations, and enjoy the various aspects of the Moon like a lunar trip.
This application was developed based on the NASA World Wind (Java ver.) as the 3D viewer for KAGUYA image contents. This application is written in Java programming language, and is able to be run on multi-platform (Windows, MacOS, etc.).

We recommend you to check the system requirements to use all functions.
- Latest video card and driver software (OpenGL support must be required).
- ORACLE Java Runtime Environment (JRE) Version 1.6.0_29 or later must be installed.
- For MacOS users.
- Tested all functions with MacOS 10.6 + Java for Mac OS 10.6 Update6 on Intel/64bit CPU. (MacOS 10.7 is now being checked.)
- Other Mac OS versions and/or architectures are not guaranteed compatibility due to older versions of JAVA.
JOGL applet setup can be tested with this sample Gears 3D JOGL animation applet.
